Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the ReactoPet app, including ReactoPet for Business. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for the activity on it, and for keeping your sign-in details private. Give us accurate information and only add pets and photos you have the right to use.
Not veterinary advice
ReactoPet is a tool for keeping records and reminders. It does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and the educational guides in the app are general information only. Always ask a licensed veterinarian about your pet's health. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency clinic right away. Reminders may be delayed or missed, so do not rely on them alone for time-critical care.
Households, caregivers and Pals
Owners decide which pets to share and who can see them. Caregivers can add care records for the pets shared with them. Friends who collect your pet through a Pals link can see it, react to it and send it gifts. Only invite people you trust.
Businesses you link
You can link a pet to a business, such as a vet clinic, groomer, shelter, daycare, trainer or pet sitter. The business can then see the details described in our Privacy Policy and send you appointments, reminders and documents. Businesses are independent of ReactoPet: we do not check their qualifications, and we are not responsible for their services or for what they send. You can mute or unlink a business at any time.
ReactoPoints and items
ReactoPoints and shop items are virtual and have no cash value. They belong to the pet that earned, bought or was given them. They can only be passed to another pet as a Pals gift, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not refundable except where the law or Apple's rules require it. Purchases are made through Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. We may change how points are earned or the items in the shop.
ReactoPet for Business
If you create a business account, you confirm that you are allowed to act for that business, and you are responsible for:
- keeping its name, logo and contact details accurate, and not presenting yourself as a business you do not represent;
- having your clients' permission to add their contact details and to contact them, and following the privacy and anti-spam laws that apply to you;
- the accuracy of the appointments, reminders, documents and animal profiles you send or hand over;
- who you give staff access to, since all of a business's staff can see all of its linked clients and pets.
ReactoPet is not a medical records or practice management system; keep your own official records as your profession and the law require. Owners can mute or unlink your business at any time. When they unlink, you lose access to their pets, and what you already sent stays with them. When an adopter adds a pet from a shelter's handoff link, that pet and its records belong to the adopter. Deleting the last login of a business deletes the business, its client list and its animal profiles.
Business subscription
ReactoPet for Business is an auto-renewing monthly subscription bought through Apple. New subscribers get a one-month free trial. After the trial, the subscription costs $19.99 a month (or the price shown in the app for your country) and renews automatically every month unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when the trial ends, and each renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the new period begins. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions); deleting your ReactoPet account does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We may offer free or discounted access at our discretion, and we will give notice of price changes as Apple's rules require.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempting to cheat the reward system, access other people's accounts or data, interfere with the service, send spam, or upload unlawful or harmful content.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, documents and information you add. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the app, including sending photos to our image-generation provider to create your pet's avatar and delivering what you send to the people you choose.
Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time (Settings → Account details → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
